I'm 14 and i've been 4'11" for 2 years, did i stop growing?

Answer:
thats what happened to me, ive been the same height since 6th grade and now im 18 but still 4'11. your still young enough to grow though so just wait a couple more years, i have a friend who is 16 and still growing. dont worry about it too much though... tall people suck ^_^
umm yes
not yet
No you will have another growth spurt.. females usually grow in height until they are 18.males 21.
yes because usually in your stage yor height must be 5'2. . .
You could have but I think girls grow untl there 17 years old, so you have 3 years to go!! I personally only grew in inch through out highschool, im 23 now and 5 foot, My one friend is the same age and is 4'11, Even if you dont grow any taller, its not so bad being short, you will get alot of "cute" comments through the years, only bad thing about it is that its not so easy finding clothes. AND!! I have smoked since I was 14. DONT SMOKE
Not necessarily.
My mom was about 5'3'' when she graduated high school.
She grew to 5'5'' before she graduated college.
And after grad school she grew another four inches.
It's different for everybody.
Sounds like you may have a stunt in your growth. I wouldn't get worried just yet, sometimes this happens. How is your diet? Are you eating healthy and drinking plenty of water? Are you taking a multi-vitamin? I hope you don't smoke! Smoking stunts your growth, so do other drugs. Try changing your diet and taking a vitamin daily. I take biotin, which promotes growth, like hair, skin and nails. It's also really good for pregnant women to take for their growing fetus. Talk to your mom or dr before taking anything though! : )
It depends on whether you've hit puberty yet or not.
Not necessarily. It may take a while for you to get taller. People usually stop growing after the age of 18, so you have a while to go.

I'm 14 and i think im bout to start. what do i do when my period starts?

i no u have to use pads and tampoons but which should i use first? and will i bleed a lot the first time? and is it painful or no? i really need to know! thanks :D
Answer:
Hey Sweetie :)I bet your nervous huh?I was.I started at 13,man oh man was i scared!nervous!and confused about everything lol but i would perfer pads babe, just cus its going to take some time to get used to your period the first few times,so start with Maxi pads.Whether you are going to bleed alot or little your first time is something you cant really tell, when it happens thats when you know.Every girl is different. It can be painful, your lower back may ache or you may feel very very very bloated like a bloat fish lol i always do!Agh gah i hate it! : / but its something we girls hafe to put up with. You are most likey are going to cramp alot and crave sweets "chocolate" mmmm! lol youll def get tha munchies and then sleep alot or may be just a little moody liek emotional or easily mad or overworked over nothing, but hey its okay :) I promise!

Have a good weekend hunny! x0x
You should start off using pads. When your ready for tampons go for it. You HAVE TO use it during your period while you are swimming. At first your period should be light, you shouldn't bleed a lot. It doesn't hurt. Think about it; pretend your just peeing. But your "peeing" out blood. It only hurts when you get cramps, and headaches. How could the blood coming out your vagina hurt you?

When you get your first period there should be a reddish/brown discharge in your underwear. When you get your first period you are not likely to see a Niagara Falls of blood coming out. it is usually very light. Check your underpants for brownish stains. If you see any they may be the first signs of getting your period. At first you may confuse them for stains from going to the bathroom ( in case I need to spell it out, "pooping"). Before you decide if it is your period, go to your mom (or a nurse if your at school). Also a way to tell if its your period is that you may feel very depressed for no reason you can think of. When you get your period( or at least you think it is your period) watch the next day to see if the same thing happens, then chances are its the real deal. Remember, talk to your mom about it. She remembers! It could be a little flow of blood but not always. And you may not get another period the next month either. Some girls start right off with it and others are irregular for awhile. Mark on a calendar the day that the blood (or brown stuff) first showed up. You can mark the days that it continues for if you like. Then the next time you get your period again (it's often not very regular for the first few years) mark the day it starts on the calendar. Eventually you will start to see a pattern - you might start bleeding every 27 days, or even every 30 days, and that's how you work out how long your cycles are - everyone is different. Some people have it every 25 days, and some people can never tell when they are going to get theirs - but keeping track with the calendar really helps. Don't forget your period will last between 3 and 7 days. Maybe even two. You will get it every 28-31 days. I hope I helped.I give you the best of wishes when you get your period.
Well you may get cramps and u might have to go to the bathroom more...um i think u should use pads because u wouldnt really bleed alot the first time but later on use should use tampons xD
Mine started at 14, and now I'm 15. I have always used pads. At first they feel weird, but then you start to adjust to them. I've never used tampons, but I heard that they are very uncomfortable so I wouldn't suggest that. The first time I did bleed a lot, and my stomach was sore, but I just took Motrin and it felt a lof better. It's really not as bad as you may think. After you've had it for a little bit you will get used to it.

~I really hope I helped!
It depens which feels comfortable on you. Try both and see which feels right. For most girls it depends on the pain. I dont bleed a lot but I do get severe pain the first day of my period. Some of my friends didnt hurt at all and just went about there day. It could be a couple of days to like a week sometimes. Some girls have irregular periods and have to go to the doctor. Schedule it in your calendar when you do get it. I use pads because the thought of a tampon inside my private area scared me. You can choose witch you like best. Some people bleed a lot and some people dont. But the first time you get it, it'll be a sign of what to come in the later times.
Everyone is different. I started my period when I was 11 and it was heavy and lasted for 11 days. My sisters were very different. I'm 34 now and they are very short so things change. I used to get bad cramps but don't get them now. Cramps are normal just take an ibuprofen and it will help. I would use pads until you know all the ins and outs with tampons. I buy the ones that are longer with wings, it helps with leaking onto your clothes.
Remember to check every few hours to see if you need to change it. Talk to your mom. You'll be just fine.
hello.first of all welcome to womanhood.this is a special time in your life, you are no longer a child.
this means you can get pregnant so be careful.
OK you should use pads at first for about the first 6 periods, then after that its a personal choice,if you are still a virgin(which hopefully you are)i would continue with pads.
the first one will just be a small amount of blood,it might look a bit brown that's normal,or it could be bright red, also normal.you may also have a little bit of a tummy ache low down that's fine.if its uncomfortable take some painkillers, but check with mom first OK?
but whatever it can be different every month and indeed for the first few it wont be regular.a girl should bleed every 28 days and around 13 days into your cycle you may have what looks like egg whites in your knickers that's just ovulation and its fine.if you notice thick creamy white stuff that's a bit smelly and itchy...that's thrush and needs treatment.
good luck sweetie and welcome to womanhood.
Until you are more comfortable with your period, you shouldn't experiment with using tampons (you will need to understand your blood flow to know what kind of tampons to use and how often to change them). Pads are good to start with.
You actually could bleed a lot the first time or you might only spot - and it might last anywhere from 3-7 days. The longer it goes, the lighter it will get. It could even start and stop and start or not start again (until next month).
Typically bleeding in itself is not painful, but the process could be - it all depends on how your body reacts to cramps. Some people ae more affected than others - they can be quite painful. Drinking a lot of water helps, so does Midol, etc.
It is hard to plan for your first period, because you never really know when you will start - like a lot of girls I started at school (unprepared - how embarassing!). Lucky you, summer is around the corner!
You should start talking to your mom about keeping a box of pads in the house for you or finding out if you should share hers. She might even be really flattered if you asked her the same questions that you just asked millions of strangers. Good luck!
i got mine wen i was 12. and u should use pads first. and it does kinda make u feel grouchy. and u get cramps. so take midol it makes you feel ALOT better.
it is painful because you cramp alot during or sometimes before your period starts. every girl is different so i cant really say if you will bleed alot your first time.
start off using pads because tampons are sometimes a tricky thing to try out and will hurt if you insert it in wrong
stick a tampon up yourself

Im 14 and i really want the truth, how do u really grow breast, and what causes them to grow?

i just want to know because i do, and no rude answers please!
Answer:
Breasts are among the things in life that just happen! Unfortunately for many of us, there is no real control over how they grow.

It's just part of puberty ~ at a certain time in our life, usually between 11 and 13 but it varies in everyone! ~ the body's chemistry starts changing and so do our bodies, hormones send messages to various parts of the body to start making all sorts of changes, next thing you know, changes happen!

One days breasts and hair start to grow, and they pretty much seem to decide for themselves how much they'll grow.

Breasts will grow over a period of time ~ as much as five years, but once the natural growth is finished they won't usually change much, unless you gain a lot of weight.

Here's a good website for girls about puberty and health:

http://www.kidshealth.org/teen/...

Remember to stay healthy with lots of fresh fruit and veg and a bit of exercise, too! It all helps your body to fulfil its very best potential!

Good luck and best wishes :-)
estrogen hormones which are secreted at puberty
what do you mean, how do you really grow breasts? they just...grow. they may be bigger or smaller depending on your genetics.
they'll grow in time though, you can't rush them or anything
It is called genetics. The only other option is breast implants.
ok when i was 14 i wished for the same and i wished now they are all over the place ,,,,i can't barely find a bra or a shirt that would fit ,,,,,,be very careful what you wish for ok honey
u grow, they grow, you stop growing they stop growing,ur young an thick, they will grow in there own time 2 the size they will choose 2 b!
genetics, it depends on your family (this includes both your mom's and dad's family...my mom's side of the family including her have small breast, my dad's sister have large breasts and through genetics i got my dad's side of the family's breasts) there isnt anything REAL to make them grow...breasts just are...only way to enlarge them is to get breast implants but dont recommend that...YOUR BREASTS ARE MADE FOR YOUR BODY! and they wont finish developing until 18 so just be patient...

:)
Wait, you don't have any breasts? Its estrogen that makes them grow.

Im 14 and i really want the truth, how do grow breast, and what causes them to grow?

i just want to know because i do, and no rude answers please!
Answer:
You can't "grow" a breast. Your breast grows according to some genetic code in your body. Its very likely you will have breasts like other females in your family. Sometimes if you gain a lot of weight your breasts grow too because of the fat tissues. Be happy with what nature endows you, big or small that is how you are and think positive - look in the mirror and tell yourself how beautiful you are. It works.

I'm 14 and i already am just starting my period. I have pancakes. How Can I get bigger boobs?

no answers like: just wait, or you will grow plz
Answer:
well honestly you cant speed up how those grow they grow with your body but since you just started they are going to speed up growing now soo = D theyll get ther
What you are telling us not to say is the only thing we can say.

There is no way to speed up puberty. You will continue to grow until age 18 or so... until then I suggest a padded bra or just accept the fast that you WILL have to wait.
and I had honey nut cheerios for breakfast...

look at your families boobs. if they don't got boobs, you probably wont either.
I would just wear padded bras. I'm almost 17 and have absolutely no boobs but if there was something I could do I would. But it's what I have, I can't change it, so I just try to be thankful for them. When I was 14 bras wouldn't stay on when I'd raise my arm because there just wasn't anything there to hold it down. And if that's the case get a bra with a little bit of plastic on the inside =)
just wait puberty takes a long time for some and shorter time for others p.s when you get older and if you still do not have boobs consider getting a boob job
PUMP THEM OR ANY CIRTAN MASSAGE MAKES THE BREST BIGGER IN SIZE .
Its genetics. You'll get what you're programmed to get. Chill out. Iam sporting a pair of 34G's right now (nursing mom) and I can promise you that pancake boobs are a blessing.
you are a late bloomer and i know that you don't want to hear it but they will come and if you just had your period then they are on there way there are some exercises that you can do call a local ladies gym and ask a trainer because you don't want to be doing an exercise that will make them smaller

Im 14 and havnt started is this normal? What are the symptons to starting your period?

Answer:
I believe the average age is 13 but dont worry, I didnt start until 15, some even 16 or so but usually the Dr will prescribe something to get ya started before your 16.

As for symptoms, I had none until the day it began such as cramping. didnt get my boobs until 6 months later, lol!
this is extremely normal,
some get it very young, like me, i was only 9 years old.
but i have many friends who worried just like you are now, they didn'y get them until 16 or so. you are perfectly normal.
don't worry i'm 15 and i haven't started yet either ! it's normal:]
ya!
well the average time is 11-12
but it couls be 8-16!!
if u dont have it by 16 then its not normal

Im 14 and havnt started is this normal? What are the symptons to starting your period?

Answer:
you Lucky!!!
I didn't start til I was 15, you should be pleased! symptoms are often cramps and achiness (ugh!) but it's different for everyone. I didn't really get any symptoms at all my first time. see your doctor if you're at all concerned, you won't be wasting their time and they can put your mind at rest and give you more information.
